In 2012, in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona and led by the most influential cities in the region, a pioneering initiative is born in Europe and probably in the world.
It is about taking advantage of the strong impact and socialization of smartphone technologies, from networked citizen cooperation, to articulating the most powerful and comprehensive security system in each circumstance and time. In addition, this is a System in constant evolution, in the first line of urban and citizen security: our local administration.
It is a civic initiative, aware of the importance of our involvement in collective security. With this we bring together: citizens, in their different social roles, proximity police and the decisive involvement of municipal institutions.
Other important applications are born afterwards from the State security. In our opinion, it perfectly complements the "M7 Citizen Security". An initiative and response from the local world to global security.
For five years we have tried and evolved the system, the Application of citizen use, the police management system, the interdepartmental cooperation, the coordination between territories, etc. The success achieved with this ambitious citizen initiative, forces us to lead a global staging. To present in the European Institutions a model of transversal cooperation in security, based on the same principles of the construction of a Social and federal Europe: the Union.
